Terms of service

CloneHound is operated by Monarch Assets LLC, 8 The Green, Suite #5311, Dover, DE 19901, USA (“we”, “us”). By using the site or the service you agree to these terms.

1. The service

We look for suspected clone stores, brand-name listings and impersonation ads that target your brand, check each one, and, once you have signed our authorisation, file takedown reports with the relevant platforms as your authorised agent. We report findings as “suspected”. The free clone check is a report only and nothing is filed.

2. Authorisation

We file nothing until you have given us written authorisation naming us as your agent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing hello@clonehound.io. We stop filing when we receive your notice. Reports already filed stay filed unless you ask us to withdraw them with the platform.

3. What you confirm

You confirm that you own, or are entitled to enforce, the trademarks, copyrights and brand names you give us, and that the list of your official domains and authorised resellers is accurate and complete. You tell us promptly if it changes.

4. No guarantee of removal

Platforms and hosts make their own decisions. We do not guarantee that any listing, ad or store will be removed, or how quickly. A platform may reject a report, ask for more evidence, or reinstate content after a counter-notice. We pass any counter-notice or dispute to you promptly so you can decide what to do.

5. Fees

Fees are the prices shown on our pricing page when you sign up. Pay on removal is charged per confirmed removal. Monthly protection is charged monthly in advance. Taxes, if any, are extra. Both plans are month-to-month with no annual term. Refunds are covered on our refunds page.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@clonehound.io. Monthly protection ends at the end of the month you have paid for.

7. Liability

The service is provided as described, without warranties beyond those in these terms. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Courts located in Delaware have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
